Kitchen door and draw handles
Kitchen door and draw handles; small but vital accessories that can make or break any hand painted or spray painted kitchen; adding the finishing touch to a modern kitchen makeover; get it wrong and you risk throwing off the whole carefully curated design. Besides the obvious benefit of allowing you to open and close the door or draw, there is great aesthetic potential. From sleek chrome cabinet handles to antique brass draw pulls, each piece of hardware is an expression of style and personality.
Cup draw handles will add a farmhouse touch to any kitchen dresser, whilst a more modern brushed steel knob or bronzed curved handle will add sophistication and elegance. kitchen door and draw handles
Where should kitchen door and draw handles be placed?
An additional benefit of having your wooden kitchen painted, is that you choose where to position draw handles, it’s important to consider both appearance and function. If you’re working with a panelled draw face, the draw pulls may look better positioned on the top rail, whereas if the front is flat, you might want to position the handles in the centre of the unit. In terms of practicality. Your HPKUK Ltd specialist kitchen painter can help you choose and advise; we paint hundreds of kitchens a year and have the experience and knowledge of what works!
Can existing holes be filled?
Yes of course! Providing its a wooden door or draw, existing holes can be filled using a flexible 2 part wood filler and sanded smooth, prior to painting. Your kitchen cabinet painter can then re-drill and fit the new kitchen cabinet and draw handles as to your choice. kitchen door and draw handles
