A beautifully painted kitchen in Devon from Harvey Jones and what a beautiful part of the country to be hand painting kitchens in. This is a new installation carried out on behalf of Harvey Jones Kitchens by Richard one of our specialist kitchen cabinet painters, who is based in Millbridge Plymouth.
This kitchen is in Budleigh, Salterton which is a small town on the coast in East Devon, around 15 miles from Exeter.
Harvey Jones offer an extensive range of bespoke, hand-painted, luxury kitchen designs – from Shaker and Linear kitchens to Arbor and Original kitchens. Each of their high quality designs are handcrafted in their Cambridgeshire workshop and is built to last using traditional construction techniques like in-frame cabinet construction and dovetailed drawer boxes.
These kitchens come direct from the HJ factory pre-primed… once they are fully installed and fitted on site, the skills of a specialist hand-painter are employed. Richard begins his hand painting process by not only preparing the kitchen cabinets to be painted but also the area he is working in. Protecting work surfaces, flooring and masking up wherever is needed prior to any paint being applied. He uses a variety of specialist primers and top coat paints which are durable and hardwearing. Combined with his artisan skills, your kitchen is finished to a beautiful, smooth finish that you will adore.
Painted Kitchen – Colour Choice
Your choice of colour for a hand painted kitchen is endless, our specialist kitchen painters can match to most popular colour palettes and also bespoke colours. This particular kitchen was painted in the equivalent colours to Elephants Breath and Railings from the Farrow & Ball colour palette. The contrast between this warm and contemporary grey against the soft black with blue undertones, gives an almost dramatic feel to the cabinet doors on this newly installed kitchen.
